//BENSON DAYS : Bike Gang Parade!\\
Saturday, July 29 @ 9:00am : Benson Days is here again, and this year we’re celebrating the neighborhood’s 130th anniversary! We’ll be riding bikes in the Benson Days Parade, so meet us at 9 o’clock on the back deck at the shop — we’ll ride over to Gallagher Park together, and the parade begins at 10. Afterwards, stroll Maple Street and check out the vendors, food trucks, live music & activities.
Feel free to decorate your bike (or not, it’s up to you) — and help us celebrate Benson!
Coffee & Retail!
New retail coffees in the shop! Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters sent us some new seasonal selections this week. We’re pretty excited to have these single-origin beans available for purchase:
- Costa Rica Marlon Urena : $19// This washed process coffee is produced at an altitude of 5900 ft above sea level in Tarrazu, and the result is an uber sweet bean with white grape and kiwi notes, medium body and sparkling acidity.
- Guatemala Damian Venabente : $16.50// Produced in a volcanic region of Guatemala, this washed process coffee has a candy-sweet fragrance and heavy body with notes of raisin, dried apple and chocolate with a caramel sweetness.
New custom OBC mugs! We recently received a shipment of these beautiful stoneware mugs, made in Wisconsin by Sunset Hill Stoneware. Each mug is $22, available in a variety of sizes and glazes to spice up your morning ritual.
Bikes & Bike Stuff!
NEW! Bob’s Beer-ings Bike Mirrors, $16.
Our pal Bob makes these kitschy-yet-super-practical bike mirrors from bottle caps and floral wire, if you can believe it. We have a variety of caps in stock — some local breweries, some one-of-a-kind caps — all cool and helpful! Stop by and try one out today. Support local business!
